Episcopal Church Women (ECW)
All women at St. Barnabas are members of this ministry which meets every
Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM in Hutton Hall. In addition to fellowship opportunities,
the ECW performs a number of mission projects such as making “Linus Blankets”
for infants in need at local hospitals. Annual fundraising events include the ECW
Fall and Spring Rummage Sales. Tickets go on sale in just a few weeks. Monies raised at these events fund college and youth scholarships
among other ministries.

Fall Fashion Show & Luncheon
In 2006, this event was held at the Paradise Valley Country Club and fashions were donated by Draper's & Damon's . Tickets will go on sale in Spring 2008 for this year's event! Monies raised at this event fund the ECW College and Youth Scholarships among other ministries.

The ECW Rummage Sale
We will no longer hold Rummage Sales at St. Barnabas. Please do not drop off donations for this sale any further. Rather, please take them to your local Good Will or call the Salvation Army for home pick-up!
The ECW Pecan Sale
Our first-ever Pecan Sale went off without a hitch this winter! We offered several flavors of pecans to our parishioners and friends: Arizona Citrus, Amaretto, Cinnamon...delicious! We were also able to raise over $3,000 for our ECW Scholarships. To everyone who helped out, who bought pecans, who supported us--THANK YOU!

Movie Nights
Have you ever considered just how much of
your own “theology” has come from the arts and
particularly from significant films? Our St. Barnabas “Faith
and Film” Series considers these questions on a regular
basis – and we have fun doing it! Contact Don to find out when our next great series will begin!

Hospitality “eTEAM”

At St. Barnabas, we know how important our newcomers are! God brings us all together to worship and it's important to acknowledge and honor those who have come to join us for the first time.
That's why we've created the "eTeam" to meet and greet our newest worshippers before and after each service.
If you've been a newcomer to a church before, you know how important this ministry is! Consider being a welcoming, energetic presence on the patio for the new people who find us this Sunday!
Contact: Fr. Brent for details or to volunteer!

Friday Morning Men’s Prayer
Group
This fantastic group of men meet every week on Friday mornings for fellowship, breakfast & prayers together. All men in the parish are invited to join each Friday
at 7:00 AM in the Library. The fellas also collect $2 per week from each attendee and are able, through this small amount, to make donations to various Mission Ministries and other great causes on campus! On third Fridays of the month, the group meets at Bridging AZ furniture bank in Mesa to volunteer--a special opportunity for them to put faith into action! All are welcome!

Thanksgiving Dinner
A Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings
is prepared by the staff of St. Barnabas and parishioners and
is open to all who are looking for a "family-by-choice" to celebrate with, don't want to cook, or just want to have a relaxing and stress-free Thanksgiving for once! The dinner is held in Hutton Hall on Thanksgiving afternoon and we encourage everyone to bring a side dish to share with the crowd. Keep your eye out as November rolls around to join in the feast!

Warriors Softball Team
 |
At St. B's, we encourage growth of our spiritual AND physical well-being! That's why each spring St. Barnabas fields a softball
team in the local Episcopal Softball League. We play other teams from other local Episcopal churches and have a wonderful time getting to know others and cheering each other on! We are always seeking “nonprofessional,” fun-loving
players. Cheerleaders and fans are also always welcome!
