Music at St. Barnabas has always been a remarkable offering. From the parish choir which graces our worship every Sunday, to our up-and-coming youth who are growing each day in their musicality, to the concerts and events that our Music Program provides on various occasions, our lives at St. Barnabas are inspired by the joyful noises made by our musicians to the glory of God.

Parish Choir

The St. Barnabas Choir contributes music ranging from Gregorian chant to newly composed anthems at our Sunday morning services. The choir also performs major choral works at concerts during the year, leads Evensong services and regularly inspires our congregation to new heights.

Youth Choir

The St. Barnabas Youth Choir sings monthly at the Sunday morning service and participants lead the music for Children's Chapel on a regular basis. Choir rehearsals are held on Sunday mornings.

Handbells

Our handbell ensemble rings regularly during year at our 10:15am service on Sundays. This unique group blends the voices of multiple octaves of handbells to achieve an exciting, dynamic and unique musical experience! New ringers are always welcome!

Our Instruments

The organs of St. Barnabas Church are the generous gifts of faithful parishioners, John and Mary Dell Pritzlaff. The church organ was given in memory of the Pritzlaff's grandparents and the chapel organ was dedicated as a memorial to the Pritzlaff's parents. To learn more about each of our instruments at St. Barnabas, including the Carillon (Arizona's first and only!), click the below link. If you'd like to learn more about the organ that was installed as a part of our 'Renewing our House of Worship' Capital Campaign in 2010 (also generously gifted by the Pritzlaff family), contact Paul Lee.
